When it can’t wait until morning
Refrigeration never picks a good time to fail. It’s the Friday night rush, the Sunday of a holiday weekend, or 3 a.m. after a thunderstorm knocked the power out. That’s why we offer emergency service.
Tell us what the thermometer says and what the unit is doing. We’ll walk you through what to check and how to protect your product while a tech heads your way.
Call right away if…
- Your cooler is at 41°F or warmer and climbing
- Your freezer is above 0°F and softening
- The unit won’t turn on or keeps tripping the breaker
- Water is pouring out of the box or the ice machine
- You smell burning or hear a loud bang from the unit
- It quit after a storm or power outage
While you wait for us
A few things that protect your food and help us fix it faster.
- Keep the doors shut as much as possible
- Check the breaker and the disconnect switch
- Write down the temperature and the time
- Move high-risk food to a working unit or ice
- Don’t chip ice off the coil with a knife
- Snap a photo of the data plate for us
How cold is your cooler?

Food code rule of thumb: coolers hold 41°F or colder, freezers 0°F or colder.

Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. Emergency service is available. Call and tell us what the unit is doing and what the thermometer says.
How fast can you get here?
It depends on where you are and what else is on the schedule. We’ll give you an honest time estimate on the phone. Maintenance plan members get priority.
At what temperature do I need to throw food out?
Florida’s food code requires cold food held at 41°F or below. How long food can safely sit above that depends on the food and how warm it got. Your health inspector or the food code has the specifics. We focus on getting the unit cold again fast.
Should I turn the unit off?
If you smell burning, see smoke or hear a loud bang, turn it off at the disconnect and call us. Otherwise leave it on and keep the door closed while we’re on the way.
