Florida summers cook compressors
Most of the emergency calls we get in July could have been a 20-minute fix in April: a coil packed with grease, a fan motor on its way out, a drain line about to back up. Maintenance catches those while they’re cheap and before they cost you a walk-in full of product.
A maintenance plan puts your equipment on a schedule that fits your kitchen, and it keeps your health inspector happy with clean ice machines and logged temperatures. And when something does break, plan members go to the front of the line.
A plan makes sense if you…
- Run a busy kitchen with several units
- Have had more than one emergency call this year
- Have an ice machine you can’t remember cleaning
- Want temperature records for inspections
- Can’t afford to lose a weekend of product
- Manage more than one location
What every visit covers
We set the schedule around your equipment and how hard it works.
- Clean condenser and evaporator coils
- Check refrigerant and hunt for leaks
- Inspect door gaskets, hinges and heaters
- Clear drain lines before they back up
- Sanitize and descale ice machines
- Change ice machine water filters
- Check fans, motors and electrical
- Log box temperatures for your records
How cold is your cooler?
Slide to what your walk-in, reach-in or freezer thermometer says right now. We’ll tell you how worried to be, and what to do next.
Food code rule of thumb: coolers hold 41°F or colder, freezers 0°F or colder.
You’re in the safe zone. Keep it that way with regular maintenance.

The brands we service
And just about every other commercial make.
How often should commercial refrigeration be serviced?
For most restaurants, a visit every three months works well, with condenser coils cleaned more often in greasy or dusty spots. Lighter-use equipment may need less. We’ll set a schedule after we see your setup.
What does “priority service” mean for plan members?
When a plan member calls with a breakdown, they go to the front of our schedule ahead of non-members.
Do you give me records of the visits?
Yes. We log what we cleaned, checked and found, plus box temperatures, so you have records for inspections and for planning repairs or replacements.
Can one plan cover multiple locations?
Yes. Tell us how many locations and units you have and we’ll put together one plan that covers them.
