The box that holds your whole menu
Your walk-in holds thousands of dollars of product, and it works hardest in exactly the conditions Florida throws at it: long, humid summers, kitchen heat pouring in every time the door opens, and afternoon storms that flicker the power.
We fix walk-in coolers and walk-in freezers of every make, from the evaporator inside the box to the condensing unit on the roof or the pad out back. Our trucks carry the common parts, so most repairs are done in one trip, and we tell you plainly what failed and why.
Call us if your walk-in is…
- Reading 41°F or warmer, or creeping up through the day
- Icing up on the evaporator coil or the ceiling
- Leaking water onto the floor
- Running nonstop, or clicking on and off
- Sweating or frosting around the door
- Making a new grinding, rattling or humming noise
What we fix on walk-ins
Inside the box, on the door and out at the condensing unit.
- Compressors and condensing units
- Evaporator and condenser fan motors
- Defrost timers, heaters and terminations
- Thermostats and temperature controls
- Expansion valves and solenoids
- Refrigerant leaks, repair and recharge
- Door gaskets, closers, hinges and strip curtains
- Door frame heaters and frozen doors
- Drain lines and drain line heaters
- Panel, floor and ice buildup problems
Why walk-ins fail here more than up north
The heat, the humidity and the storms all land on the same piece of equipment.
Heat on the condenser
A rooftop or outdoor condensing unit baking at 95°F plus has far less room for dirty coils or a weak fan. Summer is when marginal units quit.
Humidity at the door
Every door opening lets in wet air that turns to frost on the coil. Worn gaskets and propped doors make it worse fast.
Storms and power blips
Brownouts and surges are hard on compressors and controls. If it started after a storm, tell us. It helps narrow things down.
How cold is your cooler?
Slide to what your walk-in, reach-in or freezer thermometer says right now. We’ll tell you how worried to be, and what to do next.
Food code rule of thumb: coolers hold 41°F or colder, freezers 0°F or colder.
You’re in the safe zone. Keep it that way with regular maintenance.

The brands we service
And just about every other commercial make.
My walk-in is warm right now. What should I do while I wait?
Keep the door shut as much as you can, check that the condensing unit has power and its breaker hasn’t tripped, and look for ice on the evaporator coil inside the box. Write down the temperature and the time. Then call us. Move high-risk product to another cooler if it climbs past 41°F.
Do you repair walk-in freezers too?
Yes. Walk-in freezers and walk-in coolers use most of the same parts, with extra attention to defrost systems, door frame heaters and drain line heaters on the freezer side.
Can you fix it in one visit?
Most of the time. Our trucks carry the parts that fail most often, like fan motors, contactors, thermostats, defrost parts and gaskets. If a part has to be ordered, we’ll tell you how long it will take and whether we can keep you running in the meantime.
Which brands do you work on?
Every major brand of walk-in box and refrigeration system, including Kolpak, Norlake, American Panel, Polar King, Heatcraft, Copeland, Bohn, Larkin and more. If it keeps food cold, we can work on it.
